Whether starting school, moving home, or changes in routine—Transitions can be especially challenging for neurodivergent children. This panel session brings together experts and families to share practical strategies, lived experiences, and expert-backed insights to ease these moments of change. 


From sensory-friendly approaches to communication techniques, we'll explore ways to support children in feeling safe, confident, and prepared. Expect an open discussion, real-life examples, and actionable advice to help parents, carers, and professionals create smoother transitions for neurodivergent children in everyday life. 


Join us for an empowering conversation that prioritises understanding without judgement, flexibility, and well-being.

Former TV actress (Waterloo Road, Casualty & Byker grove) & singer (Sony Music) a widowed Mum of two, Self Development Coach & founder of The Happy Me Project. The Happy Me project is an online & in person, straight talking self development membership, podcast & award winning (Health & Wellbeing magazines best wellness book of 2022) best selling book (Bloomsbury Publishing). Holly’s Ted Talk has been watched by half a million people & she has appeared on Lorraine, BBC, ITV, Talk Radio, Channel 5 News & featured in The Daily Mail, Mirror, The Sun, Closer, Hello, Psychologies Magazine, Spirit & Destiny & Prima Magazine. Holly has seen the highs and lows of life and after the death of her husband and becoming a widowed single Mum at just 23 is not afraid to discuss tough topics and the challenges we all face.

Holly is a neurodivergent ADHD human who lives with both the pros and cons of this. She applies this in her work, aiming to make accommodations and adjustments for clients and followers and learning daily how she can be better in doing so.

Reena Anand

Director and Founder of Being Inclusive

Reena Anand is a neurodiversity coach, consultant and speaker who helps organisations create neuro-affirming workplaces where all employees can thrive. As a neurodivergent entrepreneur and parent to two neurodivergent children, she combines lived experience, professional expertise and cultural awareness to drive meaningful change.
With a background in law and governance, Reena delivers practical, research-backed strategies to improve inclusion, productivity and wellbeing. She has spoken at leading industry conferences and works with corporate leaders to move beyond awareness to action. Passionate about psychological safety and sustainable inclusion, Reena empowers organisations to unlock the strengths of neurodivergent talent.

Dan Pell, PhD (he/him)

Senior Teaching, Learning and Technology Consultant
University of Wisconsin-Madison

Dan Pell, PhD, has over two decades’ experience working to improve in higher education in the United States and globally. He works outside of traditional hierarchies with students, educators, and leaders to solve complex issues, and make teaching and learning fairer and more effective for all. He also identifies as autistic, is the father of an autistic child, and is part of several generations of neurodivergence in his family.

Combining his professional skills and lived experiences, Dan speaks firsthand to the strengths, struggles, and successes of parenting, working, and living in the rich and dynamic world of neurodivergence.
