Are you ‘running on empty’?


With 90% of neurodivergent women experiencing burnout in the workplace, compared to 77% of the overall workforce (Code First Girls), it’s likely that you or someone close to you has experienced it firsthand.


While burnout affects individuals of all genders, in this session Women Beyond the Box centre the experiences of women. Acknowledging how the experience of sexism and ableism impact Neurodivergent women at work, increasing the potential for burnout.


Join us for an insightful and engaging discussion where we will explore the reality of burnout while sharing practical tips and advice to empower you to reclaim your energy.


Our chair and speakers have a wealth of valuable knowledge, lived experience and expertise from working across a variety of industries. We will explore a range of subjects including:

  • Rethinking Productivity & Success

  • Advocating for yourself

  • The Power of Authenticity

Britt Sarony (she/her) | Event Chair

Neurodiversity, Age & Creativity Consultant & founder of CCA Ltd

Britt draws on 25+ years in ad agencies to unlock potential in businesses and individuals through creative problem-solving and neurodiversity advocacy.

Diagnosed with ADHD at 53, she understands the challenges of burnout, authenticity, and feeling valued - especially for neurodivergent women (and those in midlife or freelancing).
Her impact includes making Guinness’s Six Nations rugby matches more accessible, leading ND-focused brainstorms, and both speaking and consulting on ADHD and Age inclusion. She also co-leads Bloom UK’s Neurodiversity channel; won the Bloomin’ Fun Award and, a nomination for Bloom Ambassador of the Year.
Britt blends advertising & ND expertise with lived experience to drive business innovation, improve customer and employee experience and foster fun!

Emma Case (she/her)

Founder at Women Beyond the Box, Coach and Consultant

Emma Case is the award winning founder of Women Beyond the Box, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion company. Launched in 2018 with a commitment to cultivating Neuro-inclusive workplaces. Women Beyond the Box is home to the annual Top 50 Influential Neurodivergent Women list, a groundbreaking campaign that shines a spotlight on and honours the careers of Neurodivergent women.

Drawing from her expertise in women's leadership and a decade of coaching individuals and teams, Emma extends her impact by supporting global organisations in developing their Neuroinclusion strategies.
Providing data driven training sessions and practical workshops bridging the gap between Neurodivergent and Neurotypical people at work. Facilitating sessions such as ‘Thriving without Burnout’ and ‘Leading with Confidence’.

Diagnosed with ADHD and Dyspraxia, Emma utilises first hand experiences with in depth professional knowledge. With a background in the creative industries, Emma brings a fresh approach to Neuroinclusion at work.

Ray Pope (she/her)

Head of Talent Acquisition, ATG Entertainment

After working for 16 years at major record labels, Ray is currently positioned as Head of Talent Acquisition for ATG Entertainment, a company that produces award winning shows and is a world leader in theatre ticketing. Ray works closely with hiring managers across ATG’s UK business to attract a diverse range of candidates into the company, from entry-level to senior management. Within her role, Ray helps with the development of talent pipelines, making connections and developing relationships that enable ATG to reach and recruit a diverse workforce.

Ray is dyslexic and has ADHD so knows first-hand the challenges of thinking differently while trying to advance a career in a fast-paced creative industry. She has a proven track record of making businesses more accessible with diversity and inclusion baked into every aspect of her hiring practices. She has been a curator for Woman Beyond the Box, the UK's first ever list focusing entirely on neurodivergent women since 2022. And she is also on the board of trustees for Attitude is Everything, focussing on boosting accessibility, inclusion and diversity across the UKs creative industries.

Zee Monteiro (they/them)

Programme Developer, Stonewall UK

Zee champions neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ rights and anti-racism. They explore how neurodiversity, gender and race intersect, impacting neurodivergent professionals' experiences.
